The Kingman City Council will have a diverse group of applicants to choose from when Mayor Janet Watson and council members discuss and possibly choose who among them will fill a vacancy that was created when former Mayor John Salem stepped down midterm July 31.
The decision could come as early as Tuesday.
The 13 men and three women range in age from 34 to 80. They’ve lived in Arizona for as long as 59 years and for as little as one year.
Their cumulative professional experience includes management and medicine, education and high tech, business and law enforcement, real estate, tradesman and homeless advocacy.
