A number of Paradise Valley residents are concerned over plans to redevelop Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort & Suites and fear an approved rezoning request on the southern portion of the site will severely impact local density restrictions.
Paradise Valley Town Council last June rendered an opinion on the Statement of Direction outlining the parameters of examination for the planning commission as it began dissecting the redevelopment plan last month.
A final site plan and narrative of the project was filed with the Town of Paradise Valley April 17 by WSRH Cottonwoods LLC and WSRH Scottsdale Land LLC, revising its Sept. 7, 2012 Special-Use Permit application, town officials say.
