‘The Dodgers are idiots,’ says Sen. McCain

Add Arizona senator John McCain to the list of folks offended by the Dodgers splashing around in the pool at Chase Field on Thursday night.

After L.A. finished off the Diamondbacks – and the NL West race in the process – with a 7-6 win in Phoenix, roughly half the players took the victory celebration to the pool just beyond the right-center field wall.

“No-class act by a bunch of overpaid, immature, arrogant, spoiled brats!” McCain tweeted as the former Republican presidential candidate shared a link to a local newspaper blog titled “The Dodgers are idiots.”

Editor’s comment: It’s not a question of them jumping in the pool; it’s a question of what they did when they were in there.
