Homebuilders see rebound led by public companies

With the worst of the housing crisis now seemingly in the past, homebuilders left standing have been riding an upswing this past year. The Valley’s top 25 homebuilders closed about 8,800 new homes in 2012, up 55 percent year-over-year, according to the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2013 homebuilder list.
