The Tohono O’odham Nation’s housing authority received a $2.75 million federal grant to address family-housing needs.
The housing authority — Tohono O’odham Ki:Ki Association — will contribute $850,000 in matching funds, which will bring the total to $3.6 million.
“This award represents a major step forward in addressing the significant housing needs of the O’odham,” said Ned Norris Jr., the nation’s chairman.
