Last night, representatives from Wells Fargo made the first public foray towards development of Phase II on its Chandler Campus. The bank plans an additional 410KSF of commercial space at 2700 S. Price Rd. SmithGroupJJR designed the project and submitted the rezoning application. Wells Fargo wants approval for a midrise development with two 4-story buildings topping out at 64 feet. In addition to the office buildings, a four-story parking garage and surface parking totaling over 2,500 spaces.
The bank has been in discussion with contractors, but is not ready to announce its selection. A formal public announcement of the project is expected in the near future. The company has not named a construction value, but earlier this year, sources told AZBEX that the project could poke around in the $70M to $90M range.
