Diamondbacks right fielder Gerardo Parra and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt were named Rawlings Gold Glove winners for the National League on Tuesday night.
Parra won for the second time in the past three years; he took home the award for left fielders in 2011. It was Goldschmidt’s first career Gold Glove.
“It’s a great award for Paul Goldschmidt and Gerardo Parra,” Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said in a statement. “They both work very hard and they’ve come a long way.”
