New Communities Planned for DMB’s Verrado Community
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (October 17, 2013) – AV Homes (NASDAQ: AVHI) has announced the purchase of two land parcels, containing a total of 170 home sites, located within the acclaimed DMB master-planned community of Verrado in Buckeye, Arizona. AV Homes expects to begin sales within these communities in the first quarter of 2014.
The first community will include single and two-story homes with designs ranging in size from 1,950 to 3,380 square feet with estimated starting prices in the low $200s. The second community will include floor plans ranging from 2,340 to just over 4,000 square feet and will start from the mid-$200s.
Floor plans will feature open living spaces, multi-generational suites, teen rooms, and expanded kitchens, all design elements that are popular with today’s new home consumer. These single and two-story homes will feature striking exterior architecture and great indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Just 25 miles outside Phoenix, Verrado is anchored by a pedestrian-friendly Main Street and offers residents a championship golf course, miles of parks and trails, excellent educational and recreational facilities as well as a variety of clubs and activities. Verrado has excellent access to transportation with access to Interstate 10 just one mile south and Loop 303 just five miles to the east.
