Parking at Casa Grande City Hall should be easier to find now that a solar panel installation project is complete.
For several months, parking has been tight as crews installed the solar-covered parking structures, fencing off many spaces.
Work to take down much of the fencing was expected to be begin Thursday, although some barricades could remain in place through next week, said Agustin Avalos, Casa Grande public information officer.
City Hall was one of five city facilities retrofitted with solar-covered parking structures. Installation began in April with Grande Sports World. That facility’s solar panels were the first to be completed and brought online.
“At this point, only the solar panels at Grande Sports World are operational,” Avalos said.
