FDIC sells more than 12 acres of Phoenix land after bank shutters

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has sold three parcels of vacant land in the Phoenix area totaling nearly 13 acres for a combined $225,000. At an average of $17,307 per acre, that’s a heck of a bargain.
