Former Pinal County Attorney’s Office worker charged with fraud

A grand jury has indicted a former Pinal County Attorney’s Office employee on charges of fraud, forgery and theft, officials said.

Somer Fite, 44, of Prescott, was arraigned Friday in Pinal County Superior Court and faces one county of theft, one count of fraudulent schemes and artifices, and six counts of forgery, according to a County Attorney’s Office statement.

Fite worked in the County Attorney’s Diversion Program from January 2007 through August 2012.
