Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry is scrambling to getting out ahead of the chance that local developers might come forward and tell the stories they have been telling friends for years about how things are really built in Southern Arizona. Huckelberry assembled and disseminated an 8 page memo, including a screen shot of Supervisor Ally Miller’s Facebook post in which she asks developers to tell her about their experiences, and advises them that she would pass the information on to authorities for investigation.
For years, developers in the area have told stories about how they had to hire certain “consultants” if they had a hope of getting the permits they needed to begin their projects.
