Westwood Financial Corp. of Los Angeles sold Crossroads of Tempe at 7707 S. Kyrene Road, 315 and 325 W. Elliot Road in Tempe to KLC Holdings LLC of Fargo, N.D., for $5.5 million. Steve Julius and Jesse Goldsmith of CBRE in Phoenix represented both the buyer and the seller of this 39,511-square-foot retail strip center.
Talon Properties (Chris Arnold) sold 15 acres of a 23-acre Desert Creek site within the Las Sendas master-planned community near the Loop 202 and McDowell Roads in Mesa to Ryland Homes for $3.325 million. Brent Moser, Mike Sutton and Brooks Griffith with Cassidy Turley’s land group represented the seller. The buyer, who was self-represented, plans to build Desert Creek at Las Sendas in two phases. Phase 1, the 15-acres purchased, is planned for 102 detached lots. Ryland will close on Phase 2, 7 acres, in early 2014 with plans for an additional 43 lots.
Greenlee Textron Inc. of Rockford, Ill., sold the Greenlee-Textron Facility at 325 S. El Dorado St. and 2521 W. Birchwood Ave. in Mesa to Chinmaya Mission Phoenix for $2.09 million. Pete Klees, Paul Sweetland, Paul Boyle and Rick Danis with Cassidy Turley represented the seller, and John Meyer and Beth Aerts of Airpark Property Specialists represented the buyer of this 57,000-square-foot flex property.
