Tucsonans seeking urban living now have more options.
Herbert Residential will open its doors this weekend for new and prospective tenants.
The eight-story 144-unit building will host a grand-opening ribbon-cutting event from 4 to 7 tonight at 202 E. 12th St. Activities include tastings of beer from Barrio Brewing and Thunder Canyon Brewery, food and music.
The all-concrete property was formerly an apartment complex for low-income seniors. Seniors who lived at the old Armory Park Apartments were relocated in July 2012 after investors built a new complex west of Interstate 10 along Congress Street.
