Rodney Glassman, a former Tucson City Council member and Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, has gotten into the book business — not that he plans to make any money at it. He gets businesses to sponsor the production of children’s books so he can give them away to students. The books focus on Jeremy Jackrabbit, who wants to teach children about re-using Earth’s precious resources, said Glassman, a Phoenix attorney. The first book focused on harvesting rain, while the second book looked at recycling cans.
