Yesterday, in a unanimous decision the Pinal County Planning and Zoning Commission voted to support Rose Law Group pc client, Skybridge, LLC (Bryan Morganstern and Blake McKee), in their proposed master planned community at Surrey Lane and Skyline Drive, about two miles north of the Central Arizona College San Tan campus. Skybridge received approval of a Non-Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment, a rezone and approval of their Planned Area Development Overlay District to allow for 955 single-family residential units approximately on 272 acres. The location is terrific for immediate development and the community is adjacent to the major Pinal County Trail. Quail Ranch has an extensive trail system, four parks, a basketball court, soccer fields and several Ramada areas. The community character will reflect the agrarian and western heritage of the area. The case now moves forward to the Pinal County Board of Supervisors next month. Land Use attorney Jordan Rose handled the Planning Commission hearing and said, “this P&Z always asks good questions, which is why these Pinal County projects, once built, will have great amenities and a high quality of development that exceeds many Valley cities. Based on design and location alone, Quail Ranch should be tremendously successful.”
