Republican Rep. Frank Pratt of Casa Grande said he will seek a fourth term in the Arizona House of Representatives.
Pratt said he considered running for the Arizona Corporation Commission but ultimately decided to attempt to retain his House seat.
“One (makes) policy decisions and the other is more a regulatory unit,” Pratt said. “I like the policy portion of it. You kind of go where you feel you can be a benefit.”
Besides, he said, “I’ve built up good relationships with people over the past few years.”
A possible reelection also allows Pratt to achieve a long- held personal goal of his to serve in office for eight years.
“That was always the thought, that I would have eight years to accomplish what I wanted to do,” he said.
