States may now reopen parks; Grand Canyon National Park takes $12M hit in shutdown – We find this to be the greatest outrage, political gamesmanship while real businesses suffer!

The Obama Administration will allow states to pay to reopen national parks shuttered by the partial government shutdown. That’s good news for the numerous businesses and residents in northern Arizona who rely on trips and tours to Grand Canyon National Park, but much of the damage has been done.
