Two Valley cities were ranked on the Top 100 Places to Live in the United States, according to Livability.com .
Tempe came in at number 43 and Scottsdale ranked at 89 on the list. Number one was Palo Alto, Calif. and at the bottom of the list was St. Louis, MO at 100.
The methodology behind the rankings included best amenities, education, transportation, access to healthcare and citizen demographics (age, race, income, education level).
Livability.com partnered with the research team at Richard Florida’s Martin Prosperity Institute to collect and analyze data over a period of months.
The site says their list is based on what “Americans value most in their communities.”
