Urban-style apartment project sold in Buckeye’s Verrado

An investment group recently bought the Main Street Lofts apartment project in Buckeye’s Verrado.

Waitt Verrado LLC a newly-formed group made up of Nebraska-based WaittCorp Real Estate LLC and Arcadia Capital Group LLC of Phoenix, bought the 45 apartment units from DMB Associates for $4.73 million.

Verrado opened in 2004. The 8,800-acre community has nearly 6,000 residents. At build-out, the population is expected to be 30,000 to 40,000. The community is allowed to have as many as 14,000 houses, but it more likely will have from 10,000 to 11,000, Verrado officials have said.
