Arizona still gaining more jobs than it loses

Big companies are coming to Arizona and creating jobs.

That’s what’s being reported on TV and local newspapers.

But the truth is, there are a lot of businesses cutting back, as well.

Earlier this month, Apple Inc. announced it’s opening a plant in Mesa that will create 2,000 new jobs.

Phoenix Mart plans to open a giant trade center in Casa Grande that will add 8,000 jobs.

On the flip side, the University of Phoenix and JP Morgan Chase recently announced major cutbacks in their Valley workforce.
