Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is suing a group that has been running negative TV, print and Internet ads against him.
The Arizona Public Integrity Alliance launched a “statewide public education effort” this month to highlight what it calls “unethical behavior” by Horne, who is running for re-election next year. He is being challenged in the Republican primary.
The advertising mentions allegations of campaign-finance-law violations, allegations of an affair with an employee and his role in a parking garage hit-and-run for which he paid a $300 fine.
