[COMMENTARY] Cave Creek outguns Scottsdale in Western Range War

So, after much hoopla, hoo-ha and all-around good-hearted (on the part of some) ha ha, the Great Arizona Who’s-More-Western Range War of 2013 is over.

The Cave Creek Town Council on Monday backed away from its dastardly scheme to declare itself the West’s Most Western Town, opting not to snatch the title from its big sister to the south.

The town blinked … and yet won this showdown, scoring its biggest crowd ever over the weekend for Wild West Days. Meanwhile, Scottsdale just looks, well, like a bunch of bellyachers.
