After county supervisors from across Arizona recently discussed concerns of elected officials from both parties, three major points were pushed forward for consideration.
At Wednesday’s Pinal County Board of Supervisors meeting, those action points were approved and are to be sent in a letter to state senators and representatives as well as Gov. Jan Brewer.
Board Chairman Steve Miller of Casa Grande said the points were intended to go beyond party affiliation.
“We’re trying to show strength in numbers,” Miller said, adding that resolutions from other county boards across Arizona would be similar in nature to the one approved this week in Pinal.
