Greasewood land dispute in north Scottsdale may be resolved this month

The final fate of 42 acres of mostly vacant land in north Scottsdale has become even more knotty as a fourth bidder has emerged for the property that is home to Greasewood Flat.

It now appears the case will be decided after a final hearing in Maricopa County Probate Court on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

According to a document setting the hearing date, the fourth bidder to emerge is Continental Real Estate Companies, an Ohio company whose bid was not specified. Continental joins Taylor Morrison Homes, Jacor Partners and Sonora West Development Co. as competitors for the land on Alma School Parkway and Pinnacle Vista Drive.
