Majority of group homes have failed to register under Prescott’s new rules

Just more than one-third of the group homes eligible for the City of Prescott’s new registration opted to sign up by Monday’s deadline.

That was the word from Prescott Planning Manager George Worley on Tuesday – one day after the end of the 60-day registration period for existing group homes.

Worley and other city officials gave a progress report to the Prescott City Council this week on the new group home regulations that the council approved two months ago.
