3 finalists for Cave Creek town manager to make pitches

Cave Creek has whittled down a large pool of contenders for the town’s highest staff position to a few finalists.

After a nationwide search and more than 80 applicants for a permanent town manager, the town has narrowed it to three:

— Himanshu Patel, current interim director of public works for Pinal County and former town manager of Florence.

— Peter Jankowski, current town administrator of Dudley, Mass., and former town manager of Athol, Mass.

___ James Palenick, current interim town manager of Dallas, N.C., former city manager of Gastonia, N.C.
