Coolidge City Manager Bob Flatley has been pleased enough with the performance of his employees that he wanted to push an additional paid day off for everyone.
Labeled an “Appreciation Day Off”, all full-time and part-time employees will be able to work with their supervisors to choose one day in the next three months that they can have off. If planned right, the only cost of this off day on the budget could be a few overtime hours at the police department.
Flatley said the idea came to him after being so impressed with the work done by the public works department in multiple areas.
