Custom lot in Desert Mountain sells for $1.3 million

According to public record (click here to view the affidavit), a 1.22 acre custom lot traded hands December 9, 2013 for $1,366,750 ($1,120,287 per acre). The lot is located in the Village of Lost Star at Desert Mountain in North Scottsdale. The seller in the transaction was the Ingrid Lenz Harrison Revocable Trust and the buyer was the James W. Curry Revocable Trust. Despite the large sales price, the seller still took a loss on the lot. Public records (click here to view the affidavit) show the Harrisons purchased the lot from the Desert Mountain Developer back in April of 1999 for $1,799,000 ($1,474,590 per acre).
