Desert Troon reacquires perimeter center offices previously lost to foreclosure

Scottsdale – A two-building office complex within the Perimeter Center business park in Scottsdale that was foreclosed two years ago has been reacquired by the previous owner. Perimeter Gateway I LLC, a company formed by Desert Troon Cos. in Scottsdale (Tore Diskerud, Dan Smith, principals), paid $26 million ($112.68 per foot) to buy the 230,737-square-foot office project located at 8667 and 8701 E. Hartford Drive. The seller in the cash transaction was 8667 & 8701 E. Hartford Drive Holdings LLC, a company formed by the registered holders of Cobalt CMBS Commercial Mortgage Trust 2006-C1 Commercial Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates Series 2006-C1. The special servicer for the commercial mortgage backed security (CMBS) was CWCapital Asset Management LLC in Bethesda, Md. The two-building complex, called Perimeter Gateway I, is about 45 percent occupied. Leasing assignment still to be awarded. Continue reading
