The days of Italian espresso machines, personal secretaries and palatial offices for lawyers could be a thing of the past for commercial law firms in Phoenix and other big cities

Law firms are taking a long look at overhead and operational costs, especially real estate, said Sherry Cushman, executive managing director and leader of real estate brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield’s Legal Sector Advisory Group. Cushman was recently in Phoenix to talk about legal real estate costs and how more firms are aiming to get them under control.
