According to public record, LGI Homes closed on 154 partially developed lots (64 – 61’ x 115’ and 90 – 55’x 110’) in the San Lucas subdivision for $3,080,000 ($20,000/lot, / $348 per weighted average front foot). This subdivision is located on the east side of the I-10 and Sandario Rd. Off site entrances are installed and the site has been mass graded. According to LGI, a portion of the lots should be delivered in 3rd Quarter of 2014.
There are 2 other builders active in San Lucas, Lennar Homes’s Discovery at San Lucas and Richmond American’s Palisades at San Lucas. Lennar’s prices range from $165,990 – $209,990 and the homes range from 1,800 sf – 2,903 sf. Richmond’s prices range from $159,950 – $194,950 and the homes range from 1,538 sf – 2508 sf.
“Marana is the Scottsdale to Tucson and you can see in the last year that the homebuilders are quite bullish in the area,” said Jordan Rose, Land Use Attorney who handles projects in Marana.
