A management audit of the town of Cave Creek has delivered mixed results — revealing the town staff is steeped in a culture of service and preservation but is experiencing increased tension in the wake of recent transition in leadership and elected officials.
Graduate students at the Center for Urban Innovation in the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University conducted the research from September to December.
Interim Town Manager Rodney Glassman said he proposed the study to provide the mayor and council with a clear, expert view into the town’s current staffing and allocation of resources and how they aligned to their individual and collective visions for the community.
