Looks like Crandall’s Wyoming stay will be short

Information from media reports

The Wyoming Supreme Court ruled today in favor of the state’s elected education chief, Cindy Hill, who sued to overturn a law that stripped her of most of her powers and gave them to the governor-appointed director of the Wyoming Dept. of Education

That’s the job for which former Arizona Senator Rich Crandall took last year.

The Wyoming Constitution does not give the Legislature unlimited authority to prescribe the powers and duties of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, ruled the court 3-2.

No comment has come yet from Crandall.
