As Maricopa residents prepare to meet the three finalists for City manager this evening, revelations about the work history of one of those candidates are beginning to emerge.
Gregory Rose, the principal agent at consulting firm Rose and Associates in Dallas, worked as the City manager for the City of North Las Vegas for more than six years before being forced to resign in the midst of a scandal.
Rose told Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS in November 2009 that his departure – which saw him leave the city with an estimated $337,000 settlement – was not tied to a recent investigation conducted by that station that revealed the City skirted the rules of a voter-approved initiative.
