Infusing new life into the McDowell Road Corridor, creating budget policies spurring annual payments to the municipality’s capital improvement fund and finding new ways to save money top the list of priorities for three members of Scottsdale City Council.
The Scottsdale Independent asked three members of city council what they will focus on in the new calendar year, along with what they thought were some of the more pressing issues facing the municipality.
While similarities and stark contrasts exist, each member interviewed spoke of ways to create a better municipality — one that is more responsive to resident needs while at the same time ushering in a new era of development within municipal borders.
