Rose Law Group client, Standard Pacific, spends $29 million to buy former Compadre Stadium in Chandler

standard pacificChandler – Standard Pacific of Arizona Inc. in Scottsdale (Pat Moroney, pres.) plans to develop a residential community on a site in the Ocotillo area of Chandler that was formerly used as the Compadre Stadium spring baseball training facility. The 74-acre parcel is located at the southeast corner of Alma School and Ocotillo roads. Standard Pacific paid $29 million to acquire the property. The seller was Ocotillo West LLC in Chandler (Bernie Hoogestraat, manager). The cash sale was brokered through Nate Nathan and the late Ray Rodey of Nathan & Associates Inc. in Scottsdale. Standard Pacific is working to obtain zoning approval to develop roughly 320 attached and detached housing units in a gated community with lakes and common areas. Tentative plans call for 200 single-family detached residences ranging from 2,300 sq. ft. to 3,800 sq. ft. and 120 attached townhomes ranging from 1,500 sq. ft. to 1,800 sq. ft. Continue reading
