Surprise Council again votes to appoint Jim Biundo

Jim Biundo, 79, has been appointed for the second time to a Surprise City Council seat.

He will represent District 2, which primarily covers the Sun City Grand community.

Biundo first joined the council in 2011 after Sharon Wolcott vacated her position as the District 1 representative for her successful mayoral bid. He was tapped for the District 2 post on Jan. 28.

There was a three-week break between the end of his first appointment and the start of the second.
