Chandler’s San Tan Tech Center sold for nearly $10 million

The San Tan Tech Center — a former Intel Corp. building and now home to the city of Chandler’s Innovations incubator — has sold for $9.6 million to Phoenix-based ViaWest Group, according to a statement today from CBRE Inc. in Phoenix.

At 129,187 square feet, ViaWest paid more than $74 per square foot for the facility, which is located south of Chandler Boulevard along McClintock Drive. That’s below the Valleywide average sales price for office space as of December, $80.90 per square foot, according to LoopNet.
