Home prices aren’t the only thing rebounding amid the housing market recovery. Hundreds more home products were on display this week at the annual International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas as builders, designers and architects prepare for a year of increasing construction, remodeling and home sales.
Sprinkled throughout the sprawling exhibit floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center were displays of upscale and unusual items ranging from 12-foot-long gas fireplaces to kid-size toilets. Attendees perused luxe wine cabinets, fancy faucets that display water temperature and the latest in home-automation systems.
All told, the Builders’ Show alone attracted 1,220 exhibitors this year, up from 980 last year. And the show’s combination this year for the first time with the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show brought a few hundred more vendors to the lineup.
Here is a look at a few offerings that caught our eye on the exhibit floor.
