The Arizona Legislature is finally back at full strength after the swearing-in of its newest member.
Demion Clinco was sworn in by Arizona Supreme Court Justice John Pelander at the Capitol Thursday afternoon. He is one of two representatives from Legislative District 2 in Tucson.
Clinco is a historic preservation activist who serves on the Tucson-Pima County Historic Commission and the board of the Center for Desert Archaeology.
Pima County supervisors appointed Clinco Tuesday.
The House vacancy was created when the supervisors appointed then-Rep. Andrea Dalessandro to fill a Senate vacancy. That vacancy was created by Sen. Linda Lopez’s resignation on Jan. 13.
