Seattle celebrated the Seahawks’ Super Bowl Sunday victory with fireworks over the internationally recognized Space Needle.
But if the Arizona Cardinals ever win pro football’s championship, what iconic image would the world see during the celebration?
One Phoenix developer had hoped to break ground on the city’s own Space Needle-type structure and open it before the 2015 Super Bowl in Glendale.
But those plans have hit the skids. Novawest had planned to build a 420-foot observation tower inside the interior courtyard of the Arizona Science Center, near Washington and Seventh streets in downtown Phoenix.
