Pinal County Superior Court presiding Judge Stephen McCarville has not yet set the new duties of Scott Sulley, a Maricopa judge ordered earlier this week to be reassigned.
In an e-mail sent to InMaricopa.com Thursday, McCarville said he has “been more concerned with ensuring judicial coverage” in the Maricopa-Stanfield Justice Court and Maricopa’s municipal court and has “focused on that issue.”
Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Rebecca White Berch ordered Monday that Sulley be reassigned to other duties after his oversight of the two local courts were found to be “problematic.”
