Arizona measure would force state to disclose tax breaks, incentives given to companies

Business, manufacturing and high-tech interests are fighting a bill at the Arizona Legislature that would require the Department of Revenue to disclose detailed information on tax breaks received by individual companies. The measure would shed light on the tax credits and breaks received by big companies in the state such as Intel Corp., defense contractors, copper miners and solar energy firms. It would also show the tax benefits being given to Apple Inc. for its new plant in Mesa and Tesla Motors if its planned $5 billion battery factory lands in Arizona.
