With a projected annual growth rate of 3 percent in housing and 5.6 percent in non-residential development, the city of Eloy is proposing an increase in development impact fees.
Spurred by Arizona law, the city has completed a new Land Use Assumption study as well as an Infrastructure Improvements Plan. With these tools, the city can determine what infrastructure and services will be required to support new development.
And more importantly, using these tools, the City can determine how much revenue can be anticipated from development fees to pay for projected growth.
