Former Glendale city attorney Tindall disputes ethics complaint

An ethics complaint against former Glendale City Attorney Craig Tindall has no merit and should be dismissed, Tindall’s attorney said in a 17-page response filed with the State Bar of Arizona.

Former Glendale City Councilman Phil Lieberman filed the complaint in November, alleging that Tindall had a conflict of interest because he went to work for the Phoenix Coyotes while still being paid a severance by the city.

The response, submitted by attorney Andrew Halaby on Feb. 13 and recently obtained by The Arizona Republic, says Lieberman misrepresented Tindall’s responsibilities.
