Residential projects to begin to spring up near Valley Ho

Multiple residential projects will be under construction this year in the area surrounding downtown Scottsdale’s historic Hotel Valley Ho.

The latest project is First Avenue Townhomes, to be built at the southeastern corner of 69th Street and First Avenue. The residential project includes six two-story units.

The project is being developed by Phoenix-based Venue Projects. Partners John Kitchell and Lorenzo Perez are seeking a rezoning and approval of a preliminary plat for the project. The property currently is platted as three residential lots and the rezoning will allow six units on the site.
