Residential units popping up along Arizona Canal in Scottsdale

Hundreds of new multifamily residential units along the Arizona Canal will be hitting the Scottsdale market later this year and in early 2015.

New York-based iStar Residential has broken ground on the 72-unit final phase of Sage, a high-end condominium complex at Chaparral Road just east of Scottsdale Road. The first phase, which included 50 condominiums, townhouses and penthouses, sold out in early 2012.

And at Scottsdale Waterfront, Alliance Residential Co. plans to open the first phase of Broadstone Waterfront, a 259-unit high-end apartment complex with 8,000 square feet of restaurant space along Marshall Way, by mid-summer.
