ASU begins renovations at Sun Devil Stadium

Arizona State University has started to dismantle portions of the north end of Sun Devil Stadium as part of long-awaited renovations. ASU wants to transform the 71,700-seat football stadium into a horseshoe set up at the north end zone, opening up views to the Tempe Town Lake below. Taking out portions of the north end will reduce capacity to approximately 60,000 fans. ASU started the process today with cranes removing some signs.
