The disappointing new-home market has prompted an adjustment in the Belfiore Real Estate’s Consulting’s Knowledge Base Current & Future Market Insights report for April, which was released Thursday.

Jim Belfiore, the report’s author, again has adjusted his forecast for permits downward for the next three years.

He says that while interest from potential buyers has stayed strong across the Valley’s new-home communities, sales in March and April have been slower than they were last year.
